Producer

Phil founded Wild Rover in 1999. His TV career spans over twenty years. His first commission was for Viz - The Documentary [C4]. Previously he's been:

  • Assistant Commissioning Editor for Entertainment at Channel 4. Shows included:
    • Vic Reeves Big Night Out
    • Drop the Dead Donkey
    • Whose Line is it Anyway
    • Tonight with Jonathan Ross
  • Exec Producer, Development at Mentorn Films. Shows included:

    • Passport (BBC1)
    • Happy Families (BBC1)
  • Head of Comedy at Thames Television. Shows included:
    • Fluke (C4)

  • Head of General Programmes at UTV. Shows included:
    • Emerald Shoes (ITV)
    • Same Difference (C4)
Phil's currently producing Just For Laughs for Saturday Nights on BBC ONE as well as Exec Producing the rest of Wild Rover's shows. He is also the Northern Ireland PACT representative and on the board of Northern Ireland Screen.
